Charterhouse Surgery is closing.
We will not be open after 30th September.
A letter is being sent from NHS Bromley CCG tell you how to register at other local practices.
You do not need to wait for the letter in order to register at another practice.
Unfortunately, we are not able to register you at another surgery on your behalf.
Early Closing on Wednesdays
From 31st July, The Charterhouse Surgery will be closing at 12.30 pm on Wednesday afternoons.
Any prescription requests or collections will need to be arranged beforehand.
Revised Appointment system
We have revised our appointment system. We now offer the following types of appointment:
Appointments with a doctor:
Telephone consultations to discuss quick issues with a doctor (some can be booked in advance and some are released at 8 am on the day)
Book in advance telephone consultations to discuss test results with a doctor
Bookable on-the-morning face-to-face appointments with a doctor (bookable from 8 am - some appointments can be booked online)
Bookable on-the-afternoon face-to-face appointments with a doctor (bookable from 2 pm - some appointments can be booked online)
Book in advance appointments (these go very quickly)
Appointments with a pharmacist or nurse:
Our in-house pharmacist and practice nurse offer appointments which can be booked in advance over the telephone with one of our receptionists.
Personalised text messages from the surgery
We are also using Accurx, a text messaging service to patients. You may receive a text message asking you to call the surgery to book a telephone or face-to-face appointment to discuss the results of any tests you may have had. We reserve a number of appointments each day for this purpose.
please contact the surgery before 10 am. You will be given a telephone consultation appointment slot and called within one hour. The clinician will discuss the management of your care and decide if you require a home visit. Home visits are for patients who are housebound or unable to leave the house for medical reasons.
